I was born in Stockholm, but live with my family since long time in Gothenburg, a city on the west coast in the southern part of Sweden.
Photography as a passion started for me 1964.Then I was able to buy a single lens Pentax camera after a job as an extra postman when I was free from school. Some years later I educated myself to be a professional documentary photographer. During different periods I have earned my money for living as a professional, but other years I have worked as a freelance journalist and as a professional painter. Another thing I have done is teaching at different art schools. During ten years I was a teacher in model drawing at School of Design and Crafts at the University in Gothenburg. I have also worked many years with documentary film and made some projects for Sveriges Television (SVT), the Swedish public service television company.
