I live in Northwest Indiana. I have a day job but photography is what makes me happy. I used to use the d70 or the d2x on occasion but I just bought the D300 and absolutely love it. I want to eventually look into getting the D700. But that is pretty far from now.

Outside of my photography. I am happily married to the most amazing man and photographer. I love that we can share this hobby together. It is one of many things that bring us together and make us perfect for each other. We are looking into displaying our photos in a couple galleries as a couple.

I have a real passion for shots of abandoned buildings. I have shot buildings some what locally but plan to travel to other big cities with friends! I can't wait to travel to West Virginia eventually!

I also like to do a lot of city shots. Every now and then I do nature shots but I just don't like them. Not to say I don't like pictures of nature, I think they can be beautiful! I just have an eye for architecture. I would love to travel the world and take a picture in every big city.

I was working on opening my own business, but right now I have a full time job in a management team where I am constantly growing in the company. I would love to one day have the time to open my own business. I have come to realize that when I decide to start a family and take off time to be with my family, I will have more time at home to focus on Influence Photography. I will still shoot some weddings here and there, but for now I am happy in my profession.

I am strong-willed and very opinionated. I am not at all afraid of criticism. In fact, I welcome it. It's how I learn. I do not see photography as a competition and never will. The day you start comparing yourself to others is the day you start to lose your passion for photography. Photography is a way to express myself NOT express how others should see or feel about me. I do this because I love it. Its that simple :)
