Leeds Museums and Galleries, part of Leeds City Council, is the primary museum and gallery service in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The service manages nine historic and iconic venues and the collections therein:

The service exists to collect, preserve and interpret historic and cultural collections and historic sites and use them as inspiration for educating, entertaining and informing the people of Leeds as well as visitors to the city. We provide unique learning environments through the maintenance of these sites, their collections and through the operation of high quality, welcoming visitor attractions with associated commercial activity including retail operations, conference and hospitality provision including weddings.

Here on Flickr we are showcasing our sites and some of our finest collections, along with various activities that take place at our sites. We hope that they provide you with a flavour of what our sites have to offer.
