Lets see, I think I first got into photography in Mr. Lightfoot's 7th grade photography class in 1970-something. By the late 1980s I was a stringer or staffer for a gaggle of weekly and daily newspapers.
Then one day I stopped shooting all together.
Today I program computers.
Not that long ago I started shooting again. This time around there's one rule:
I shoot what *I* want, not what other people want.
It's more fun that way ;).
