From its source in Mount Oiz to its mouth in Lekeitio, the LEA flows through beautiful natural scenery and underpopulated spots. The river is a protected reserve because of its good-quality waters.
Towns like Lekeitio, Mendexa, Gizaburuaga, Amoroto, Aulestia, Munitibar (Arbatzegi - Gerrikaitz) are linked to the basin of the river LEA.
The last stop could be at " the balcony of Bizkaia", a nutural and excellent outstanding view-point.
