Just picking up a camera again after many years away from photography.

The most exposure I've had to photography was in high school. Learned on 35 mm and medium format film cameras. Spent a lot of time in the darkroom developing and printing. Even received an "Honorable Mention" in the LA Times for a B&W photo I took of a neighbor's child.

New to digital photography.

NEW - Just updated my current arsenal:

Nikon D300
Nikon D80
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
Nikkor 17-55 f/2.8
Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Nikkor 55mm - 200mm f/4 - 5.6
Nikkor 60mm micro f/2.8
Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro
Nikon SB-600 Speedlight
Canon SD1000
Photoshop Elements
Nikon Capture NX
Lightroom

And of course, I have several books that have been widely recommended on flickr. I'm learning that it's more a matter of practice than reading, so my suggestion would be to pick up your camera and go use it.

I'm really rusty and would appreciate any constructive criticism.

I'm Female.
