Teacher, photographer, writer, kayaker ... the order sometimes varies.
Behind the camera, I divide my time between studio photography and landscape. In the studio, I mostly work with young people, and mostly in situations where I'm trying to make them look their best -- senior portraits and portfolio shots in particular.
Outdoors, the landscape already looks its best; I just try to capture what I see in the best possible light.
