I've always liked photography and understood the basics of it without being taught, although more recently I have been shown by Philwirks ( www.flickr.com/photos/philwirks/ ).
I am a very visual person and find things done visually a lot easier to understand. this is probably why I like photography so much!
At the moment i'm still trying to find my particular favourite type of photography.
