I discovered Flickr a while back and was completely blown away by the photography I saw. It really motivated me to get into photography, save up for a decent camera and become a better photographer. Everyone here is so amazing, and I hope that one day I will be a fraction as good as all my favorite photographers here.

You also might as well know that I suck at Photoshop. I'm not going to say what I use to edit my photos, as it's a little embarrassing, but for right now, no Photoshop here.

I'm a writer and a lover of words. Writing is my life, but I love expressing myself in pictures, too, which is why I've gotten into photography. With no siblings, I really only have myself as the subject, (though my friends model for me, they can only stand being photographed so much) so there's a lot of self portraits. I can only hope that with practice, I'll get better. I speak Spanish fluently and am in the process of learning Italian.

I'm really inspired in both my writing and my pictures by symphonic/goth rock and victorian industrial music. Bands like: Within Temptation, Tristania, The Gathering, Epica, Kamelot, Nightwish Lacrimas Profundere, Johnny Hollow, Krypteria, Lacuna Coil, Beseech, Theatre of Tragedy, Emilie Autumn, Mortal Love, Octavia Sperati, Leaves' Eyes, Sirenia, Stream of Passion (to name a few) are some of my absolute favorites.
