"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything." - Aaron Siskind

I found some very encouraging words that I truly appreciated. I wanted to show them to everyone so they could see them as well and hopefully appreciate them as much as I did. Her name is Rosie Hardy (http://www.flickr.com/photos/rosie_hardy/) and this is what she wrote: "1)Do not be afraid to be inspired - its probably one of the best feelings (at least I have ever had) and it isn't something to be ashamed of. Sometimes people ask me for tips and the advice I always give is to look at as much art and data as your brain can take in, pick the things out which you love and roll it all into a big ball and turn it into yourself. There's a nice quote which a lot of people know, "life's not about working out who you are, but creating who you are" or something along those lines, and I find it totally 100% true.
2) Don't be afraid to spark debate on touchy areas. As long as you do not intend to offend, and if possible give a warning about the content, then you have the right to voice your opinion, as do the people who choose to listen and look. I posted an image yesterday which a lot of people didn't like, because of the way I chose to represent that topic. I respected that and removed the image, however I am proud of that image and it's meaning, and I have a right to show it.
3) Most importantly, have fun with your art and don't listen to people who want to bring you down. I cared for a very, very long time about what every negative comment had to say about me, but today I realized that I had neglected what the nice comments said. You can't please everyone but you can be polite, kind and unoffensive in your intent. If people don't like it, they'll get over it and so should you. It's your life, enjoy it to the max. I got your back ;)"

Check out my other website for some more pictures! :) They are basically the same ones but there are a few different ones on there.
