BORN IN 1972 to a working class background, I quickly made my mark on society. Although once voted the student least likely to string two words together as a coherent sentence, I now work for a small publishing company as an assistant editor of a national monthly magazine. If my high school English teacher was dead, the rotational energy of her spinning body could power a small city.

Some people collect stamps, others paintings. I collect hobbies. My major interests are, and have always been, music (mainly general but majoring in The Fall and punk/post rock/shoegazing/noise) and travelling, and I also have a bit of a taste for anime/manga. Past obsessions have included long distance cycling, walking and playing the guitar (a hobby which has been ‘on the shelf’ for far too long).

I currently live in Northamptonshire, one of the dullest counties in the United Kingdom, but one day hope to own it.
