I live in a quaint and charming small town located in the midwest, populated with a huge range of artists and fascinating people. I am a graphic designer married with two beautiful little girls. After 12 years in the corporate design world I "retired" to raise my two daughters. As my children grew older my need for an artistic outlet (other than crayon and Playdoh mediums) also grew.

So I put my shingle out and opened my own advertising/design studio out of my home. My experiences as a small business owner have been wonderful—I highly recommend it! We live in a wonderful age now where more and more people can become more family focused and work from home‚ it's awesome! I enjoy interacting with a wide range of personalities every day while still being readily available for my children.

Through my studio I have met some fantastically talented jewelry artisans whom I am also proud to call my friends. From them I recently caught the "jewelry making bug". So on weekends—when I can slip away —I design jewelry.
