At lara&me, I handcraft unique, one of a kind, Waldorf inspired dolls with a modern touch. Each one of my dolls start as a piece of 100% cotton fabric and emerge to a soft, cute, cuddly doll with a sweet hand-embroidered face that is very appealing to a child’s senses. The simple form and facial features of the Waldorf doll help spark your child's imagination. The doll can be happy, sad, sleepy, etc. depending on your child's mood or the specific scene they have created. All of my dolls are made with all natural materials: cotton, wool, mohair. No plastic or lead in these dolls and are made in my smoke free, pet free home studio here in Michigan. I design and sew their outfits(and sometimes knit) from all natural fibers and they are removable for easy changing.
