Good Life on a Great Lake.

That’s what Lake Erie Living magazine is all about. For people who live on the lake, who aspire to live on its coast, or who simple play there on weekends, Lake Erie Living is the first publication specifically aimed at those enjoying Lake Erie’s unique lifestyle.

The 2009 Lake Erie Living Photo Contest is officially open for entries. Amateur photographers are encouraged to head to the shores of Lake Erie to visually capture the beauty, activities, and lifestyle of the lake.

Send us your views of the Lake Erie region and enter for your chance to win a $500 B&H gift card. One grand prize winner will be selected as well as first, second and third place winners in each of the three categories. Winning photos will be featured in the December/January issue of Lake Erie Living, and on LakeErieLiving.com.

The deadline for photograph submissions is September 14, 2009.

Amateur photographers may submit up to three previously unpublished (in print), color or black-and-white images, taken in the last three years, and captured somewhere within a 30-mile radius of Lake Erie (both the U.S. and Canadian side of the lake). The three contest categories are drawn from those subjects of special interest to Lake Erie Living magazine:
1. Nature and Wildlife
2. Architecture and the Man-Made Environment
3. People
