“Laimikis” in lithuanian means lucky catch.

Laimikis.lt is an creative group, which acts on the streets,
considering city as a playgound for interaction with the passers-by.

Since 2oo7 o3 o7 we develop a Street Photography project:
for us “lucky catch” is people on the streets of Vilnius (Lithuania) mostly,
but we are glad to include street people from other towns (and other countries) in it.
Photography is a communication with a passer-by and a way to pay a compliment.

Unlike most of street fashion blogs, we interview passers-by on their lifestyle in a broad sence: we are interested in music they listen, books they read, their creative activities, and urban places they visit.

Since 2oo8 o4 we develop a brand new Linking Thing project, promoting creators and their diy collections and asking them to pass some items from the collection to passers-by as a gift :) DIY thing becomes a link between two strangers and gets it’s own story.
