We are a small Allotment in London, consisting of 15, some of which are subdivided to accomodate twenty (20) plot holders.'

The longest a plot holder has been here, working on the allotment is for 40 years. Followed by 18 years and then 14 years. During this time there have been good and bad times for the allotment.

This allotment is presently administered by Kingston-Upon-Thames, who choose a Site Liaison Volunteer (Roy Smith). At this stage there where about 5 allotments running, so with some hard work from Roy, he managed to fill the allotments with plot holders during 2006 - 2008. Roy organised for major clean ups of the area and getting rid of the overgrown bramble site.

This year (2008) the allotment reached it's goal and won The Telegraph's Competition " Best Community Allotment" of the year. we now have a waiting list of 4 people. We are working towards managing the allotments ourselves which is an on going process.
