Hello, I’m Laura, aka Lady Serina.
Serina has been my on-line persona since the my early gaming days playing Quake and UT.

I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) early 2008 and since then I have spent most of my time dealing with and trying to overcome it. It's been hard work but my perseverance has paid off. I am now med free and about to be discharged from my consultant. It still affects me, realizing exactly when isn't always easy but it's a major step in the right direction.

I believe music, art, photographs and words are the key to expressing the soul. They make you feel, and allow a release of what is going on on the inside.

I have certain principles that I choose to live my life by, although cost plays a part in the ability to stick to them to a degree. I buy fair trade produce where possible, natural bath/shower and cosmetics (predominantly from Lush) and am a firm believer in Human Rights. I like nature, but I’m not what you would call an activist. (I like Top Gear too much for that!)

I’m also a bit of a geek if I’m honest - you probably already gathered that I like Pc’s and on-line gaming and with good reason! I live with and love a gorgeous Dutch Web Developer thanks to World of Warcraft although I stopped playing some time ago due to the vast amount of life lost to raiding seven days a week. Having said that it also gave me a new life with a wonderful man that I met through the game.

Feel free to comment on anything even if you don't like it but I must stipulate that I will not tolerate any comments that are not constructive. I know the majority of people have enough brain cells to formulate criticism in an appropriate manor. There are unfortunately always exceptions. You would have thought people would have learnt by now that throwing insults around never achieves anything. Constructive criticism however...

I hope that somewhere lurking in the depths of my warped imagination there is something you may find interesting, funny (if they are pictures of me) and maybe even good!. Thanks for reading, and of course looking.
