About LACO Pulse:

LACO Pulse is a social networking group of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra for the young and culturally savvy (21+). Pulse membership is free ... and includes our email invitations and updates. Do the music thing with us as often as you like - buy your concert tickets online, over the phone or at the theatre, then come hang out with your fellow Pulsers at Milano's or Palomino after the concert. We will even have a signature LACO Pulse drink, so bring a friend or two and enjoy getting to know others in our culturally connected network.

About the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra

...America's Finest Chamber Orchestra. And if that sounds like some local chamber of commerce boosterism, I assure you it isn't. The only Southern California cultural institutions for which I have that kind of blind, uncritical affection are the Dodgers and Disneyland."
-Jim Svejda

The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1968 as an artistic outlet for the film and record studios most gifted musicians. Since then, the 40-member orchestra has acquired a reputation as one of the top ten ensembles of its kind in the world. Renowned pianist and conductor Jeffrey Kahane has led the group since 1997.

The orchestra maintains its local presence with an annual home season of 15 concerts at two historic theaters, the Alex in Glendale and UCLAs Royce Hall. In celebration of the 250th anniversary of Mozarts birth (January 27th, 2006), the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra performs all 23 of Mozarts original piano concertos over 15 months, a feat no other American orchestra has ever attempted.
