Street photographer mainly, occasional shooter of passing birds, park benches and other defenseless objects. But for me cameras were made to photograph people. Call it street photography, call it people watching, candid portraiture, whatever---, for me the joy in the act of people photography is the anticipation of the unexpected, suddenly encountering that beautiful little flower of reality that is blossoming just for me. I enjoy the challenge of trying to prise art from the seething, roaring, shouting masses around us, finding the juxtapositions and the places where the light is magical, capturing the brief moments of beauty, intrigue and provocation.
