Hello. I am a school principal in a rural community. I am interested in how technology impacts on learning and I am looking for ways to allow students different avenues to learn and demonstrate their learning.
Besides school, I coach basketball, workout, run (sometimes) and read, mostly science fiction and educational. My favourite authors are Terry Brooks, Charles Dickens and William Faulkner. John Mellencamp is the voice of the people and speaks about the plight of the common people in the face of the corporate engines that drive the economy. Having children, my music is influenced by theirs, some is good, some we agree not to share with each other.
I drink Pepsi, use a Mac and snowboard "goofy". I enjoy being just on the edge of what is happening, pushing for new and adaptive options.
I believe in Jesus Christ, which offends some, too bad. Life is too short to worry if someone who has no belief is offended. Christ provides me with strength, wisdom and courage to face the challenges of each day without having to worry about it being a contest or having to "win" as much as I can because I know that there is more to come after this life!
