Just a guy who likes photography, being anywhere outdoors especially the beach or the mountains. I am an avid outdoorsman, runner, and triathlete (on break). Love spending time with family and friends drinking fine Scotch and wine. I live in the San Francisco bay area but travel any time I get the opportunity..I am learning my way around photoshop and creative editing. I have always used Canon cameras and currently use a Canon 7D with several lenses. 17-40 F/4L, 28-135 IS (kit lens), 70-200 F2.8 L IS, and a 300 F/4 IS, I also use a IIX doubler for longer shots. I like meeting new people who share a passion for life........I would like to eventually try and make a lil money with photography. I started a web site www.kenwestermannphotography.com to show what I consider my better photos. I would love to expand my wildlife and landscapes as well as work with models in natural settings. Recently, I have been working with models in studio and on location. I am looking to expand my experience with models,female and male, to create creative and powerful images. I am inspired by many people on Flickr. the creativity I see here gives me hope that mankind is not completely fucked up. Some of you, Im not so sure! I love the 1920's - 1950's era style of illustration art, Gill Elvgren etc..I really am looking to work with models to recreate this lost era of illustrated art and photography. I am also in to fitness, running, triathlon bodybuilding etc. I have worked commercially for fitness company's in the past and will be posting new fitness models soon.
