KUNST HAUS WIEN's photostream

Since 1991, Vienna's KUNST HAUS WIEN has – besides a permanent Hundertwasser exhibition – presented a continuous program of international temporary exhibitions of works by such artists as HR Giger, Annie Leibovitz, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Christo, Keith Haring, David Hockney, Jean Dubuffet, Jean Tinguely, Man Ray, Robert Mapplethorpe and many others.
KUNST HAUS WIEN was established on the basis of the philosophy and artistic principles of the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. The building itself, formerly the Thonet furniture factory, was architecturally remodelled according to his own designs.
