Kuna Lu is an experienced international photographer based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His unique style showcases both the beautiful artistry of traditional film and the vibrant precision of digital photography.

Kuna graduated with a photography diploma from Focal Point, a renowned professional visual arts learning centre. Starting his career as a film photographer gave Kuna excellent opportunities to explore and experiment in various styles, from black and white to colour to transparency slide films, and enhanced his extensive knowledge of photo development, from darkroom processing to colour printing. Trained in traditional camera work, Kuna is keenly aware of how best to capture the essence and beauty of his subjects with every shutter click. Kuna is also well versed in digital photography, an emerging popular medium for the photography industry.

Kuna is well known for creating astonishing atmosphere in his work, with vivid colour touch, under complicated and extremely difficult lighting conditions. His works has documented major BC corporation and organization annual events, including the Arts Umbrella, ACSEA, Holt Renfrew, Richmond Centre Mall, and the Richmond Hospital Foundation. Kuna never takes any image he creates lightly, and is continuously striving to improve his artistry. Kuna has a rare talent of transforming the seemingly ordinary into something surprising, vibrant, and extraordinary.
