Hi there & thanks for visiting my flickr profile page. Too much to say & this box isn't big enough to "describe myself", so here's the short story...I was born & raised in Austin, Texas. I moved to San Antonio, Texas back in 2005. I have always been artistic in some way shape or form...music, sketching, painting, photography, writing, cooking & now cake designing. It all started when my boss forgot to get a cake for our monthly office birthday party. Knowing that I had a passion for cooking, she asked me if I could make a cake for the party. I think she thought that I was just going to bring a simple box cake, but what I brought was a home-made honey lemon cake with a citrus cream icing decorated with cornelli lace. It was the first of many office party cakes…I was hooked. What a great medium cake is!

In July of 2011 I moved back home to Austin, Texas. After years of holding down a full time office job and making cakes on the side, I am happy to say that I finally made cakes my full time job! I am now the lead decorator at Bountiful Bakery and Cafe in Westlake, Texas...and I'm loving every minute of it:)
