She is very passionate, with extremes of emotion that are compelling. Even her simple photos - her tossing an apple in the air - have strong emotional undercurrents, partly because *she* did them, and partly from the photo itself. As a model she is sensuous and gorgeous and very brave. She is a gifted writer and I always read her descriptions and the stories behind the photos with interest. Finally, she has superb technical skills both behind the camera and in post-production.   "I am pleased to say that I have seen Kristi grow through so much, both as an artist and as a person. That sounds cliched but, I have literally grown with her these past few years.
  
  I have seen her break down because of things in her life and get back up and take pictures about those things. The emotion comes through in them.
  
  I have seen her skip out on things she should have been doing to take pictures and hone her eye and skill.
  
  To watch her grow as an artist has been amazing. I have seen her make the comiment to making art by purchasing the equiptment she needs after working so hard to pay for it (and she can be particually stingy). Her hard work away from the lense has allowed her to expand her art, both in experience and money.
  
  I know this does not sound eloquent at this point, but her emotion comes through in these photos. Also she is constantly on the look out for new shot or ideas. Often times I think she is really in her own little world, living inside her lense. Lastly, her design, balance, focus, and treatments have also improved greatly in the past few months to the point where her finished products show a great range of all the above.
  
  Overall, Kristi is an artist on the rise. Let her get some more experince, in both life and photography and only life can tell where she can take it."
