  "I somehow feel as though I know Kristbjorg from the many excellent portraits that grace her site. These are not ordinary portraits but a fragmented searching for the meaning of the whole, works of introspection and questioning. In addition her artistic eye discerns the rare and beautiful in the mundane and commonplace – things we have become blind to because they are always there. So a utilitarian red exam chair becomes a study in light, design and line; fish become iridescent artwork not Friday night supper; her sisters become a strong tribe of women; and lollipops illustrate chaos. I just hope that Kristbjorg will delight us with her unique perspective on life for a long time to come."
