so.. about the buddy icon: Since rather few are likely to get it, and jump to conclusions (ok, perhaps that's also by design) - let me give a brief explanation.

It's an actual color composite picture of HST data. It's a part of the Carina Nebula, and is highlighted at: apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap030630.html

As human's, we want to give meaning to everything. On seeing this image, my tongue-in-cheek parody has been a caption of "God's message to man". In some ways it's appropriate, as this cloud formation only resembles the "meaning" when viewed from the specific vantage point of Earth (or our solar system, the thing is far away).

Anyhow, it amuses me. And I've been using variations of it for a background on my workstations for several years now.
