Photography isn’t an act of archiving memory or representing “the world” as such. It’s a form of illustrating a feeling or concept or mood or essence.
What I view through the l e n s isn’t a product but a potential for something beyond what I experience in the world—a new way of seeing in which the image becomes its own experience.
The parameters of projects liberate me from the overwhelming ...“everything” that snap—shots are made of. My love for deta i l zooms in on / angles \ that recontextual my everyday.
