I've been a Shutterbug for 55 years. I started with several box cameras like everyone else, but when I went in the Navy in 1964 I had a Kodak 35mm manual setting camera and a light meter. From there I progressed to a Yashica 35EE which I used until I wore it out. In 1967 after reenlisting in the Navy and during a port call in Hong Kong, I purchased a Minolta SRT101 with two lenses. During my twenty years in the World's Greatest Navy I took over 3000 slides from around the world with that camera. When I wore out my SRT101 my dad gave me his Nikon which I upgraded to a N70. I started in digital in 2001 with an Olympus D510. Two years later I upgraded to a Fuji S5000. Once again, two years later, I upgraded this time to a Nikon D50, in 2007 to a Nikon D80, and in December of 2011 I upgraded to a Nikon D7000, my current camera. My area of concentration is nature and wildlife photography with some railroad pictures thrown in.
