Whiny good for nothing 3rd trick yardmaster, I worked in the printed circuit industry for 22 years before hiring out on the UP in September 2001 after getting laid off. I have been a railfan since the early 1970s; most of what you see here is stuff I have taken in the digital age, and older stuff will be scanned as time permits. I have combined railfanning with storm chasing and it takes me and the family to a lot of out of the way places we normally wouldn't go to for any reason. Bird watching is a very distant 3rd, but I do make an effort to go see Prairie Chickens doing their dance in the springtime. I forgot to mention-my grandfather worked for the CGW for 30 years, finishing up as a yard clerk at State St. in St. Paul in 1965. Long dead now, he would turn over in his grave if he saw me now !! I eat lots of red meat, drive an SUV and don't drink water flavored or otherwise unless there is absolutely nothing else....
