I'm a happy amateur, got my first camera in November 2007 and have been taking pictures more or less actively since then. As we live on a farm on the outskirts of "civilization" nature is my main object and greatest inspiration. I take pictures, make mistakes and then take more pictures making even more mistakes but get comfort in thinking that the more mistakes I make the more, hopefully, I learn... This slow learning process is seriously complicated by my technically challenged brain, but sometimes I manage to make up in enthusiasm what I lack in basic theory.

The main reason for me to be here is to share a part of my life with my family and friends, most of whom live in Finland mainland or further away in other countries. Even if it is them I think of when I upload photos, I've left the gallery open to everyone in case some of the pictures might bring joy even to other, random visitors.

If I have marked you as a contact it's because I like your work very much and wish to find my way back to your gallery. I do not expect you to react to it in any way or add me to your contacts in the name of reciprocity, but I really do appreciate it if you allow me to visit your gallery and learn from you. Let me know if you don't want me to comment on your work.
