An ordinary woman living an ordinary life ... along with two kids, a cat, some computers and a car in my charge.

I was less than 10 years old when I had my first camera, and have been taking photos ever since, although I only began taking it more 'seriously' around three years ago. It has now become a passion. I hope to learn more and become better in time.

I carry a little Canon S95 around in my bag all the time, and also have a Canon EOS 450D (and some lenses - my favourite is definitely the 'nifty fifty'). I am a member of a local Camera Club and enjoy the talks, tutorials and competitions there, as well as seeing the work of some very talented photographers.

I like many different kinds of photos, but images which prompt a reaction in me (from laughter to awe, from bewilderment to admiration) are my favourites. I find I am drawn to taking quite a lot of macro and abstract images, and I enjoy processing with software.
