  "somehow i went like a year of knowing this person, marveling at her excellent shots, while having her significant other friended on flickr but her just added as a contact. why did i do this? why do i suck? did they ever talk about it privately: jason being all like "did you see this shot by nickd" and kirstie being all like "no, i did not"? at any rate this egregious personal shortcoming of mine has been rectified so hard in the face."

  "My most vivid memory of Kirstie will be standing in line for a show - in Wintertime while she was ill and remembering how her face would lit up while talking about music and while inside, she was energetic and alert, taking photographs and being nice to everyone.
