As a child, I used to take quite a few photos with this little gem:



During adolescence I pretty much lost interest in photography (except maybe for the odd shot during holidays).
The Rollei sat in the closet for a decade or so until I began taking it out again a few years ago. I thought about buying a digital camera, but refrained: I knew that I would not want to use my old camera again once I had access to the conveniant digital way.
In the end, said convenience prevailed: being able to try out different angles, shutter speeds and so on without eating up film was one reason. Another was that I could upload my pictures to the 'net quickly without having to wait for the film to be processed. Besides, I did not own a scanner, and the photo shops I tried delivered inferior quality.
