So after initially using Flickr as a place to find cool toy photos, and as a general outlet for my goofiness, I've inadvertently (but thankfully) rediscovered a previously neglected love of art and photography. In a perfect world, that rediscovery wouldn't have taken 10 years—but here we are. So, when I actually have time to shoot these days, I like aiming my Canon at whatever beautiful or interesting subject I come across. In most cases, the latter involves the sky, my family, various local artists or performers, or ultimately, the coolest toy robots you ever saw.
I'm mainly here for photography—either posting shots I've taken or marveling at the work of others. I'm not really here for social networking of the 'Myspace' variety: there are plenty of other sites for that (like Myspace, for example). I'm also not here to see photos of yours or anyone else's genitalia in the acts of copulation, or photos of that nature you've been collecting from around the internet—there are plenty of other sites for that as well. So if the latter is literally all you do on Flickr, and you just have to share it with everyone else here, or if you find yourself compelled to make comments of that nature on my photos, I will surely block you.
Feel free to shoot me an email about using my photos in some capacity—just don't use them without permission.
