As you can tell, I love the outdoors. I go camping and traveling as often as I can. I am a self-described nature dork, and I love to photograph anything I find interesting. I am no professional, mind you. I am what you might call an extreme amateur - lol.

I am very active in the spring, when wildflowers are blooming. They are my favorite subject, as they don't cry or run away when you try to take their pictures - hehe. Although, wind or even a small breeze can make photographing them a tad difficult. I always get a little excited when I find a flower I haven't photographed before. Yep, that is the dork in me ;) (but there is nothing wrong with being a dork - hehe)

I post my photography field trips, as I call them, on my blog for others to see, especially fellow wildflower enthusiasts.
