I am the busy mother of three children. In addition to being a wife and mother, I am the B2B website director for a major jewelry manufacturer, an amateur photographer, and a nature lover. I have always enjoyed photography and am really having fun now that it has entered the digital age.

My husband surprised me with my first digital SLR for Christmas in 2008. I now keep my camera with me at all times because I never know when I'll see something interesting that just begs for me to capture it and share it with others.

Oh, and I'm what you would call "Photoshop-challenged". I own it but hardly use it for anything but adding a watermark! I use Adobe Lightroom for most of my editing and really rely on getting good photos out of my camera that only require minor editing - not an easy thing to do!

...one more thing. Most of my family photos are private. While they are my favorite subjects, I have reservations about making them public. Also, not everyone wants to sift through kids and family stuff...but if you're interested, just ask.

One last thing, please excuse all the self-portraits. I'm my own guinea pig when it comes to learning all the features and settings of my camera.
