I do not think that great gear makes great photographs, it's the one behind the camera that matters. Nevertheless, I am quite happy with my Canon 400D (XTi). The lenses I enjoy most are the Tokina 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, the Canon 28mm f/1.8 and crappy-but-reliable 18-55mm kit lens.

I'm glad to help you, as I do photography to show the rest of the world my point of view and (pimary) not to make money. "Pascal Herleif's Flickr Stream hat für mich eine sehr besondere Stimmung, die sich in den stimmungsvollen Aufnahmen von Landschaften wiederspiegelt. Der Fotograf hat es gelernt bewusst ganz bestimmte Flair's einzufangen und besticht meiner Meinung nach durch düster - dunkle Bildaussagen.Seine gute Arbeit mit natürlichem Licht und sein Gefühl für Strukturen und Linien lassen erahnen, zu welchem Potential Pascal Hertleif aufsteigen kann. Unter anderem findet der Betrachter hier und da beachtliche Macroaufnahmen. Pascal kann im Bereich der Bildkomposition noch nachlegen und mit so manch leichter Korrektur in einem Editor einigen seiner Fotos ein bisschen mehr Kontrast hinzufügen. Mein Favourit unter der Fotos von Pasacal ist eindeutig "Monochrome Lonelyness"."
