Our mission is to create an awareness of how to keep children safe through our Community Safety Day Programs. According to FBI Statistics more then 800,000 children go missing each year - one child every 40 seconds! Our child ID kit provides a vital tool for parents and guardians to keep and use in the unfortunate event of a child being lost or taken. When seconds count, the kit provides the crucial information that authorities need to help locate a missing child.

In 2004, nearly 500 children under the age of five lost their lives in motor vehicle related crashes. An estimated 451 lives were saved in 2004 because of child restraint use. Through Education and Car Seat Safety Checks performed by our trained certified technicians Kids Are 1st helps ensure that families use and install car seats in a way that will keep children safe. Ninety-six percent of parents and caregivers believe that their children are protected in seats that have been installed and are used correctly. In reality, only 3 out of 10 children are being restrained in a way that will keep them safe. If we can meet our goal of having every child properly restrained, thousands of needless injuries and deaths could be prevented each year.
