Kam Hong Leung – Russia Dock Woodland's photostream

I am a self-taught amateur photographer who uses a "Point-&-Shoot Camera" and prefers minimal use of "Photo-Editing". My main interest is nature photography, close-up photos of flowers in particular. I live in the beautiful "Natural Neighbourhood" of Rotherhithe in London, United Kingdom, next to Russia Dock Woodland ( www.russiadockwood.ukfriends.com/ ) and within walking distance to two other major "Public Green Spaces" : Stave Hill Ecology Park ( www.urbanecology.org.uk/stavehill.html ) and the nearby historic Southwark Park ( www.friendsofsouthwarkpark.co.uk/ ) which offer me plenty of outdoor nature photo opportunities. Thankfully, I have received a gift of annual membership to become a freind of the world-famous KEW Garden ( www.kew.org/ ) on 19 February 2012 to kick-start my "KEW Gardens Images Project".

Some say that it is important “to make time to smell the roses” as we travel through life. My photos in this Photostream were my humble attempts to capture the many fleeting beauties that I was fortunate enough to have encountered during my life journey for my personal record and for public sharing. If my photos can bring you joy too, I will be pleased.
