I'm a high school history teacher in Chicago. I spent 3 years studying civil engineering at UIC, but as my GPA continued to drop like the economy, I switched to history, specifically Islamic history. I finished up my degree in 2010 and got lucky enough to land a teaching job right out of college. Thank God.
I LOVE history. That makes teaching 400% more fun.
I just got a Canon EOS XS recently (ok, a year ago) and I'm slowly learning how to take good pictures with it. Any constructive criticism on my pictures is greatly appreciated :)
