I have been a photographer in the Lincoln, Nebraska area for the past two years, although I started taking photographs when I was seven or eight years old. I began studying art when I was twelve and eventually majored in Fine Art when I went to college. I graduated from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln with a BFA in Fine Art in the spring of 2005.

I have been working with the Star City Slam, a local slam poetry group, since September 2006; when they expanded their reach to become the Nebraska Writers Collective, I became their official photographer. I have had the pleasure of photographing slam poets like Buddy Wakefield, Andrea Gibson, Katie Wirsing, and and the former U.S. Poet Laureate, Ted Kooser, among others. I have also been working with Sophia Theodore for over a year now, assisting her on wedding shoots. I've had a lot of fun working with her these past months.
