Artist Biography:
I grew up in the D/FW metroplex right on the border of Keller and Southlake. I began painting and drawing at an early age and realized I wanted to be involved in the arts throughout my life. I attended college at Texas Tech University and studied Design Communication with a minor in Ceramics (sculpture). After graduation I worked in the world of advertising as an Art Director/Graphic Designer for about 5 years before switching my emphasis to teaching. I am now an art teacher. This is a great opportunity because I am able to teach children and appreciate art and it also affords me the time to still create in my free time. I now live in Plano, TX and I am always interested in any galleries or venues that would like to show my work in their establishment.
