"Surreal has improved ten fold in the matter of weeks now, and therefore I must re-write this.
Surreal has always done a good, even great job photographing various spots, but now he's reached a level I never even thought of -- simply, extraordinary. And he must be applauded.
His photos are strickingly sharp and make good use of winter blues and whites (unlike I :)) which make jaw dropping images of Calgary + the mtns.
Even before this recent upping in quality, Surreal's photos were still quite extraordinary, and what I appreciated most was the fact that he shared spots of Calgary not usually photographed, and therefore, for an outsider, I could see areas people may see everyday in Calgary, but never photograph.
He goes beyond the shimmer of Calgary tower, the various vantage points of skylines, the highly acclaimed the Bow, etc. and photographs so much more. I especially love his Bridgeland series :).
