For me, nature photography is about many things. It's about creating, observing, traveling to new and exciting locations, and spending time in the great outdoors. Hopefully my images can inspire others to care enough about nature to want to save it.
My work has been widely published, and magazine credits include American Forests, Birder's World, Birding, Blue Ridge Country, Defenders, Florida Naturalist, Florida Wildlife, Life, Natural History, Nature Conservancy, Popular Photography, and Texas Highways. Calendars using my images include Audubon, Brown & Bigelow, BrownTrout, Comda, Florida Forever, MeadWestvaco, Mountain Trail Press, Shearson, Smith-Southwestern, Teldon, and World Wildlife Fund.
I've chosen one of my favorite alligator images from Everglades National Park as my avatar/buddy icon.
