I've been keen on photography for 40 plus years. Started out taking record shots of my early climbing and mountaineering exploits with a tiny kodak snapshot camera. Soon progressed to a Pentax SLR and my interest blossomed. Moved on to a Canon and stuck with Kodachrome for many years, resisting the urge to go digital.

Camera club membership, for a few years, helped me to up my game.

Finally succumbed and bought a Canon 10D so I could still use my favourite lenses. A couple of years ago moved on to a 20D that I'm still very happy with.

Mostly I shoot landscapes, nature and macro. I also like architectural detail shots, especially of ancient buildings.

To earn a crust I'm a teacher, video producer and webdesigner.
