Just a quick note... All comments with "comment me please!" (... or similar words and rude demands to visit your stream / This also appeals to "view my most interesting pictures according to whomever") - regardless how nice your other comment is - will be deleted and you get blocked! Just be aware. If I feel like it and have some time to spare I will gladly visit your stream and eventually place my highly intellectual ejection under one of your pictures but please respect this act. Also, please don't get offended if I do not visit your stream and comment on your photos immediately or do not add you as a contact. Thank you for your understanding!

Solar Explosion - Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park, Utah

In case you're wondering... I rarely fave shots and when I do, I do it because those are extremely extraordinary or mean something special to me. Please don't get upset when I do not fave your shot. I tend to stroll through my favorites at times (at least once a month) and just admire the huge effort that went into composing, producing and processing those great pieces of art.

I really appreciate your comments and thanks for stopping by!

    Extra Medium says:

"David came to me with an unspecified medical condition and the promise of a case of hand-crafted beer. I informed him that his payment option was perfectly acceptable since not only am I unable to accept credit cards, but as his cable guy I also have no medical background or training. After 30 minutes of intense crying and popping yellow balloons in his foyer, he sat down to tell me that his inspiration for taking photographs was all but gone. Even though I did not see this as a medical condition, I told him after my 8th beer that maybe he should think back to his childhood of something that might create a drop or two of inspiration. He recalled a peaceful moment with his friend while looking over the crest of a semi-active volcano in Hawaii. David had pushed his friend to his demise after Nathan insulted his mullet. A warm, overwhelming sense of accomplishment surfaced just after a brief moment of guilt. This fond memory of unscrupulous behavior helped rekindle the creative spark in David's mind and he went skipping past me with his camera. I haven't heard much from David since that day in 1982 but from what I read off his prison blog, he's reformed his techniques and looks at life a lot differently. If you ever get the chance to meet David, you'll find he's real kind, open, generous and loves to walk up volcanoes."
