About me? I was an electrical engineer for awhile, first at a company that designs and manufactures noisy siren products worldwide, then at a company that designs broadcasting equipment for television stations. Now I'm going back to school to become a high school teacher for Math and Physics.

Why Photos? I've moved a bit within Toronto and can cycle or take the TTC anywhere, but Flickr still remains my ticket to visit far off places and dazzling spaces where printed circuit boards and schematic documents cannot always reach... Turns out I've always wanted to make travelographies. Who knew?

What Tools? My trusty old Olympus D395 was my travel buddy for a while there back in '03 until the screen died two years later. Luckily this was around the same time I fell for a cute little Canon SD550, which I still use from time to time. At the beginning of '09 I figured it was high time I started getting my hands dirty with something more manual, so I picked up a Canon Rebel XSI and have been very happy using it ever since... I still have much to learn though.
