Bureau-on-legs.

Travelling through India (since Jan 2007) as a freelance journalist, looking for stories, looking at pretty things, looking for food.

Homebase is Wellington, New Zealand, a pretty wee city on the southern-most point of New Zealand's North Island. I miss wandering out of cinemas in the mid-afternoon during film festival season, with my trenchcoat and leather gloves, walking through the chilly, windy streets. I also miss the Vietnamese rare beef and meatballs rice noodles at Mekong on Vivian Street.

Armed with a PDA, a digital camera, a Leatherman, a knife and a torch, I'm a fully-equipped print and radio bureau (and small workshop).

Some of my work can be found on my website, the rest of it is scattered in publications in New Zealand and Hong Kong.
