I am a nurse specialising in Palliative Care, working at a local Hospice. After 14 years living in Surrey, I recently returned to live in the beautiful city of York, North Yorkshire where I grew up. I am lucky that I can now work part time to try to maintain my work/life balance. 2 years ago I got myself a good camera and love to be out and about in all weathers. Still learning about this photography lark, and will continue to do so - I'm getting a reputation for always having my camera with me!

I became a proud 'Nan' in 2010 and encourage friends and family to visit my site as I try to document subtle changes as she grows. I am keen on wildlife and am hoping to get more experienced with macro photography over the summer.
